When you contact Empire Digital through Facebook, Instagram, or WhatsApp Business — or when your business connects its Meta Pages or Instagram accounts to our marketing automation platform — we receive data from Meta on your behalf, including: your Page or Instagram account name and ID, your Page or Account followers and engagement metrics, messages sent to or from your Page or Account, and metadata about Instagram or Facebook posts you create through our scheduling tools.

We act as a Tech Provider to Meta on behalf of you, the business operating the Page or Account. The legal basis is your consent, granted when you authorize Empire Digital via Meta's OAuth or Facebook Login flow.

We use this data exclusively to provide the marketing-automation features you have subscribed to: scheduling posts, managing comments, generating audience insights, and routing direct messages into your team workflow.

We retain Meta-sourced messages for 24 months in active storage plus 36 months in encrypted archive, after which they are permanently deleted, per Meta Platform Terms.

You may revoke our access at any time via Meta account settings, Connected apps, Remove "Team Empire Operations." Removal triggers automatic deletion of your Meta-sourced data within 30 days via our data-deletion callback endpoint at https://api.teamempire.org/api/v1/integrations/meta/data-deletion. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

We may share data with trusted service providers who assist in operating our platform (e.g., cloud hosting, email delivery, analytics). These providers are bound by data protection agreements.

We may disclose information when required by law, regulation, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Empire Digital, our users, or others.

If you integrate third-party services (e.g., CRM platforms, social media accounts), data may be shared with those services as configured by you.

We restrict access to personal data to authorized personnel who need it to perform their job functions.

When you delete your account, we will remove or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

Campaign analytics and aggregated usage data may be retained in anonymized form for platform improvement purposes.
